Kelley Bonsall

Kelley is a certified coach with 25+ years’ experience leading communications teams and advising executives and elected officials. As Press Secretary to Senator John Kerry and Deputy Communications Director on his presidential campaign, she created message discipline in daily policy work and campaign communications. She was instrumental in creating clear and simple messaging platforms and supporting 5 different CEO transitions at leading companies like Levi Strauss & Co. and Yahoo! in senior communications roles. Kelley also led the first new brand for the Port of Portland in 17 years and developed the communications strategy for the most ambitious public works project in Oregon’s history – the new PDX airport. 

 

During her communications career, she has discovered a passion for working 1:1 with leaders to identify their superpowers and build skills to tackle things getting in their way.
