Kim Whitley

Kim is an executive healthcare leader with over 18 years’ experience within health plans, integrated delivery systems, stand-alone clinics, the nursing home industry and digital health solutions.  She spent the last several years as COO of a fully integrated health plan that is part of a 5-hospital health system and large medical group.  Her experience spans all types of insurance products with operational depth in all areas. Over the past 10 years she has focused on transforming the delivery system through innovation and technology. 

 

Kim’s population health approach and integration of the social determinants of health into the medical record led in 2015 to a Public Health Innovation Award and an invitation to be a liaison member to the National Association of County and City Health Officials. She has worked with self-funded plans incorporating wellness products and incentives leading to the organization’s recognition as “Oregon’s Healthiest Employer Award 5 out of the last 6 years. 

 

Kim has also been dedicated toward inspiring people inside and outside the clinical sphere to work toward a common agenda to address many issues including systems of care to support foster children, health equity, and the integration of the social determinants of health.
